The long-awaited Utopia album from my metal band, Black Halo, is now complete! I have not only the masters, but physical CDs (jacket sleeve and jewel case) proof copies.
Most details will be on the official site, but this started off as a Randy Ellefson album, and it still basically is one of my solo efforts. But I didn’t want to switch back and forth between albums of mine under the same name where they have vocals or not. Too confusing. Hence it’s going out under the band name Black Halo.
Most of this was actually recorded right after Serenade of Strings and before either Now Weaponized! or The Firebard redo. That’s how long it’s been held up – 15 years!
