I’ve resumed work on a follow-up to Serenade of Strings. Most of it was actually recorded over a decade ago before I semi-retired. In the past two months, I wrote most of a new one, updated an older one, and have another in the works. I’m getting out of the habit of predicting when I’ll be done with something, but I’ll need to finish these new ones and then see how long the album is. I prefer them to be 45-60 minutes and felt this was short long ago.
After that, I’ll need to hire a drummer to re-perform everything I’ve done because acoustic kits just sound better on this material and I don’t own one.
